Fall Features - Scenic Drives

Windsor, Orange, Addison counties
Beginning in Woodstock… ~155 miles
> Take Route 4 east from Woodstock to Taftsville then left through the covered bridge onto the River Road through Quechee, turn right through covered bridge off Main Street to Route 4. Sothern Vermont [map]
> Turn left on to Route 4 traveling east over Quechee Gorge.
> Take Route 4 east to White River Jct.
> In White River Jct. Follow Route 4 east to 5.
> Take Route 5 north to E. Thetford then go north on Route 113 through Post Mills and Vershire to Chelsea.
> In Chelsea take Route 113 north to East Barre.
> Take Route 302 to Montpelier, with a side trip into Montpelier to visit the state house.
> Continue via Route 2 from Montpelier to Middlesex.
> In Middlesex village turn left on to Route 100B, which merges into Route 100 slightly south of Moretown village.
> Follow Route 100 south to the junction with Route 107 just south of Stockbridge.
> Go east on Route 107 to the junction with Route 12.
> Take Route 12 south to Woodstock.
