Travel by Car

On reaching any of the surrounding airports that service Vermont you can easily hire a car and drive to and around the state.

All the major car hire companies: Thrifty, Alamo and Hertz have facilities at both Boston and New York. Southern Vermont is a 3 hour drive from Boston and 5 hours from New York.

From Montreal cars can be hired from Avis, Hertz, Sky Cars, Alamo, and Thrifty. A one way car hire can be arranged with a certain number of car hire companies, but for a considerably larger fee.
